Since Mount helped United win the FA Cup late last month, the 25-year-old has been enjoying the off-season and all the perks it can deliver. On Thursday, he took to social media to give a snapshot of his golfing trip across the Irish Sea, with Besiktas ace Oxlade-Chamberlain in tow.

  • WHAT MASON MOUNT SAID

The former Chelsea man simply wrote 'IE' on his Instagram post, signalling Ireland, along with eight photos – where Oxlade-Chamberlain was pictured – from their golfing trip.

  • THE GOSSIP

Mount, like Oxlade-Chamberlain, has had a difficult season. Injuries and struggles for form has limited his game time at United following his £60 million ($75.7m) move from Chelsea last summer, whereas the former Reds player was sidelined with a thigh muscle tear for several months. Mount, in particular, faces a big season in 2024/25 for United, else he could potentially be on the move once again.

    WHAT NEXT?

With neither Mount nor Oxlade-Chamberlain, 30, picked for England's Euro 2024 squad, the midfielders will continue to enjoy their summer breaks before returning to pre-season duty in the next few weeks or so.
